4/27/2012 - Community Construction Update: The developer is currently adding 86 new lots, a crossing over the creek area, and a lot of additional landscaping. The lots will be built out by the same builders, which are Gehan and Lennar.
4/24/2012 - Community Pool Update Dear Residents,
Due to some conflicting information that was provided to homeowners regarding the pool schedule we have been trying to get the pool ready earlier this year. In the past the pool has always opened on May 1st, but we are trying to arrange it so that it will open on April 1st in the future.
At this time we are working with AT&T to repair the gate system; we are currently unable to program all of the access cards, but hope to have this resolved by the end of the week. What this means is, if your access card is working or not working we have no way to correct it until AT&T is finished with the repairs.
As soon as everything is confirmed to be functioning appropriately, we will send out an official pool opening announcement to all residents. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

4/19/ 2012 - Cats in the Commons at Rowe Lane: We would like to remind all residents that it is both dangerous and illegal to leave their cats outside at any time. It is a violation of the Association's governing documents to have any pets outside of a fenced area without a leash. Pflugerville also has a leash law requiring ALL pets be on a leash if they are outside. If you see any stray animals, please contact Animal Control immediately at 512-990-PETS.
Drought continues and residents asked to conserve and follow Stage II Water Restrictions still in effect Pflugerville is under water restrictions as recent rains have not made up for the months of severe drought experienced last year in Central Texas. Pflugerville is still on stage II water restrictions.
Lower Colorado River Authority photos from February 2012 show the severe drought.
“Just because our Lake Pflugerville looks full, images of Lake Travis and Buchanan which supply water to our lake are not,” Mayor Jeff Coleman said. “We need Pflugerville residents to only use the amount of water they really need to sustain Pflugerville through the dry summer anticipated for 2012.”
"Sometimes Islands" look permanent and the lake levels are quite low as indicated in the pictures provided by the Lower Colorado River Authority.
Stage II Mandatory Water Conservation Restrictions: Schedule is based on your street address. Residential homes with an odd number: Wednesday & Saturday Residential homes with an even number: Thursday & Sunday No watering on Mondays. Commercial facilities (apartments, condominiums, civic, commercial, industrial and institutional properties: Tuesday and Friday
All water customers are required to comply with the water conservation schedule. The restrictions allow watering of lawns, landscapes and foundations, but only on designated days and before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Watering with a hand held positive shutoff nozzle or bucket is allowed anytime, any day. Car washing is permitted only on watering days and not between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. Filling or refilling of indoor or outdoor swimming pools is prohibited.

Colder weather is the time for tree care Homeowners are encouraged with cooler weather in place and recent rainfall to plant new trees and/or transplant old ones. When planting new trees, do some homework and select trees that are native to Texas and can tolerate the Texas heat. When planting or trans-planting trees, remember to dig the hole twice the size of the root ball and only slightly deeper. Planting the tree too deep can damage the tree. Trim off any tangled roots.
Pruning should be done at this time of year also. Remember to thoroughly water your tree while still obeying the City's Stage II water restrictions
1/5/2012 Recently there have been several sightings of large coyotes in the community. Please be extra cautious when outside, especially early in the morning and at night or when walking your pets. Also, you may want to consider bringing in any pets you leave in your backyard. If you see a coyote do not try to approach it, instead please contact animal control.
